Who can get it
- In genuine need of urgent financial help because of unforeseen circumstances or an emergency
- Enrolled and actively studying at CQUniversity
- Completed at least one term of study at CQUniversity
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder
- No Emergency Grant received in the last twelve months
How to claim
- Complete the CQU Cares Emergency Grant Application Form with a personal statement
- Email the form and supporting documents to the Student Scholarships team
Conditions and catches
- One grant per twelve months
- Cross-institutional students are not eligible
