How to claim
- It is paid as a lump sum with your Youth Allowance or Austudy. Ask Services Australia how to claim each trip.
Conditions and catches
- Flights are covered only if a train trip would take more than 36 hours, or no car or other public transport is possible.
- A flight is reimbursed only if you actually flew.
