Who can get it
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Live in the Northern Rivers Community Foundation area, such as Tweed Heads, Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay or Grafton.
- Show financial disadvantage or hardship.
- Show commitment to the region through school or community contributions.
How to claim
- Apply through SCU's applying for a scholarship page. SCU also suggests applying for an SCU Equity Scholarship.
Conditions and catches
- Applications close 14 February 2027.
- Up to two awards: one for a commencing school leaver, and where possible one for a non-school-leaver or continuing student.
