Who can get it

  • First-year apprentices approved in NSW, including school-based apprentices (trainees are not eligible)
  • Experiencing financial and/or personal hardship
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident employed by a NSW-based employer

Conditions and catches

  • The 2026 round opened 18 May 2026 and closed 30 September 2026; watch for the next round.
