Who can get it

  • Own or rent your principal place of residence and pay for water
  • Hold an eligible card such as a Low Income Health Care Card, receive an eligible payment such as Youth Allowance or Austudy, or meet low income provisions

How to claim

  1. Apply with the online household concessions form or call ConcessionsSA on 1800 307 758.

Conditions and catches

  • Tenants are not eligible for a concession on sewerage rates.
  • 2026-27 water concession for tenants paying usage only is $197.20 to $377.90.
